This dress is named after the lady that made this style of gown popular, Josephine, wife of Napoleon. The dress is a two-piece of a gown with puff sleeves and a square neckline and a train worn over the dress which closes at the waistline. Both the gown and the dress can be embellished with lace, pearls, ribbons and more. The back of the dress closes with hooks and eyes or buttons, whichever you prefer, the train closes with a hook and eye at the front.

This is an English style ballgown with a little, rounde train. The bodice of the dress has a square neckline and puff sleeves. The back of the dress closes with buttons or hooks and eyes, depending on your preference. This gown lends itself for lots of embellishments such as lace, ribbons and trimmings.

This English style day dress from 1810 has a beautiful round and pleated neckline. The dress has puff sleeves, but can be also orderd with undersleeves reaching a little over he wrist, for the colder days. This dress lends itself beautifully for ladies with a fuller bosu, because of the neckline. The dress has a hook and eye, or button closure and a ribbon is laced thru the waistline which can be tied in a bow at the back.

Spencer
Clothing from the Regency period are by definition not warm due to thin fabrics used for the gowns worn then. A perfect solution was the Spencer, a short jacket with long sleeves that could be worn over every dress. The Spencer has endless variations, v-neck, standing collar, tight sleeves, sleeves with caps, with or without peplum and all types of embellishmennts.
